MINUTES OF PTA MEETINGS
The 2nd PTA meeting of session 2009-10 was held on 07/11/2009 in class
VIII room. All the staff members and parents participated in this
meeting .
The meeting was presided over by Yash Pal TGT(SST) I/C Principal.
After welcoming the parents, introduction was given by staff members
and parents to each other. The following points were discussed in
the meeting:-
(1) Introduction of New Evaluation system for class IX:-
Mr. Manmohan Singh, I/C Exam explained this new grading system which
is to implemented in this session in class IX. Parents asked questions
regarding this and cleared their doubts.
(2) Introduction to new Fee Structure:-
As many parents had doubts regarding new fee structure, which was
implemented from October 2009. So, Mr. M.K. Sharma , PRT explained
this fee structure and cleared the doubts of parents specially regarding
BPL families and parents those whose income is less than 3,500/-(Three
thousand five hundred only) per month.
(3) Regarding New Admission for Session 2010-11
To increase the strength of students in school Mr. D.L . Jangid ,
PRT delivered a short speech to motivate the parents to take more
and more admission of their ward in Kendriya Vidyalaya . Mr. Jangid
gave a brief description regarding admission in next coming session.
(4) Regarding Public Transport:-
As school is very far away from city, so, it is very costly to hire
taxi for parents to send their children to school. This is also a
main reason for less enrollment in school. So after a long discussion,
parents were advised to meet to Chairman and D.C. Lunglei for this
connection. Principal also assured parents to raise this issue in
next VMC meeting.
(5) Regarding Attendance:-
As in the month of December and January , attendance of students remain
very less due to Christmas and new year eve, so Principal humbly directed
the parents to send their wards to school regularly during these months
also.
(6) Regarding suggestion and Complaint:-
There were some suggestions and minor complaints from parents sides.
Staff members noted down their complaints and assured them to sort
out these ones in very near future. Principal welcomed their valuable
suggestions.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks form Principal.
