Education,since
ages, has been making the lives of humans more and more advanced
. It adds new dimensions to the incandescence of parents ,family,
environment , Nature and teachers. Indian sensibility presumes
that true knowledge can only be gained through the blessings
of Teacher and God. Perhaps, man might have established Universities
for working hard and to receive blessings from Teacher and God.
It led to the development of Study centres across the world.
Now a days , Students prefer to go not only to the Primary schools
but also different study centres affiliated to the Universities
to fulfill their quest for knowledge of Science, Arts, Computer
etc. Nature of education has also been undergoing changes with
the changing times. For the same reasons, we find many differences
among the systems of education prevailing in the Ancient, Medieval
and Modern ages. In modern age co-curricular activities, sports
etc. are also being introduced for the development of the personality
and intellect. In present times, more emphasis is being laid
on making education employment oriented and introducing sex
education and environment education in the school curriculum.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Lunglei is a part of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan,
which has around 930 schools across the country and abroad.
Around 58 students are studying in the current academic year.
Our Vidyalaya promotes secularalism, democracy and culture.
It enlightens the students with knowledge at primary, secondary
level. It has its distinct and unique identity in a small town
like Lunglei. Our teaching and non-Teaching Staff is constantly
pouring in efforts for the over all development of Vidyalaya
and its students. Since 2003, our Vidyalaya has been chanting
rhythmic resonance of the verse'
in its morning hours with an earnest prayer to spread education
in our society and county to make us happy.
